Lauren Madden founded Arrow Yoga in 2022 after having relocated to Running Springs during the pandemic (as many others did!). Originally raised on the East Coast, she has found the Mountain Community to more closely resemble the community in which she grew up. She has been practicing yoga for almost 20 years after exploring healthy alternatives to taking care of her mind and body during a stressful period in her life. Later on, she experienced pain in her lower back which turned out to be disc degeneration that led to sciatica. Once again, she turned to yoga and since then has continued to practice nearly daily. She earned her 200 Hour YTT yoga through the renowned Austin-based, My Vinyasa Practice (MVP) and plans on continuing her 300 Hour Teacher Training. She focuses on alignment and cultivating a practice that allows the practitioner to maintain a healthy body and mind for as long as possible.
Arrow Yoga believes that with steady practice the practitioner will be able to cultivate a peaceful mind and a physical practice that will lead to longevity. The goal is to be able to practice yoga at the age of 20, 40, and 80! It is our mission to provide our clients and students with instruction free of judgment and support to help them embody their most authentic experience.
